  5. I had to laugh at how you're planning for/around a power outage. We live in the country and three weeks ago had a similar storm--and the day before, I was saying things like, "Well, you know the power will probably go out around mid-day, so let's get it done in the morning..." Country life, eh?

Thanks for the giveaway. Your patterns are so charming.

  20. Love the holidays. Enjoy a big family meal and of course desserts. I usually make a dozen different types of cookies. The smell of cookies baking is fantastic. I usually makes gifts for people; purses, quilts, dresses. Not this year. I've had a broken arm for about 12 weeks which is not healing. But after the holidays, I'm hoping to be back at sewing and quilting and would love one of your patterns

  21. I love the holidays. This year I have a shoulder out of commission because of a fall and surgery. The rehab has started and I am having a hard time getting into the holiday spirit. I continually remind myself that it doesn't matter the circumstances but what is in my heart. My plans have changed because of this injury but I still love Christmas. I will have to find new ways to celebrate this year. I love a good problem to solve and what better one to solve than finding new ways to share the spirit of the season I am actually now getting excited. Thanks for helping me figure this all out. Now to have some fun!

  22. I am so thrilled that this season is here! Now, I don't care for the snow and power outages, but I love the holiday spirit and all the fun activities that come at this time of year. I love your designs and am currently working on the last pattern I bought from you--the bellringer Santa on the way. I think he is so cute!! I can't wait to get him done and begin a new one!! I love your booth at the NW Quiloting Expo each year--it is always filled with goodness.:)

  27. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOUR PATERNS ARE GREAT!!!! YES, I LOVE THEM ALL....BUT YOUR GIVEAWAY HAS TO DO WITH THE HOLIDAYS...HMMM... JUST WONDERING WHY THE CALL THEM THE "HOLIDAYS"...ACTUALLY, IT IS NO REAL HOLIDAY, ONE IS TRYING TO FIND AND THEN BUY PRESENTS, PLAN FAMILY GET-TOGETHERS, SEND OUT CARDS, BAKE GOODIES, CLEAN THE HOUSE...MAKE HANDMADE WONDERS FOR THOSE SPECIAL FRIENDS...THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. NOT TRYING TO SOUND DEPRESSING, BUT IT IS NO REAL "HOLIDAY"....NOW MY IDEA OF THE "CHRISTMAS SEASON"...WE SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON THE REAL REASON WHY WE HAVE "CHRISTMAS" IN THE FIRST PLACE....IT IS A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR JESUS...AFTER ALL HE IS THE REASON WHY OUR HEARTS "SHOULD" BE OVERFILLED WITH JOY, GLADNESS, PEACE, AND A HOPE FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE!!!! MAY YOU ALL HAVE A SPECIAL "CHRISTMAS SEASON"...AND BE ABLE TO FIND SOME SPARE TIME TO MAKE ONE OF "REETS" ADORABLE CHRISTMAS PATTERNS.....MERRY CHRISTMAS AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.

  29. Hello Reets:
I just started decorating for Christmas today and got about 1/2 done. I took out all my Christmas quilts--about 20 of them, large and small, and put them on quilt racks, over chairs and on the wall. My favorite is one I made last year, with homespuns and wool. It's very folk art and although I used patterns for the blocks, I really like how I put it all together.
So I am feeling a little more Christmasy now.
I'd love to make one of your patterns!
