Bolt Cloverdale not only has lots of fun fabrics but also a great collection of home goods.
Kate was a very welcoming and accommodating host.
Will look forward to returning to this great shop.
Cloverdale has become a wonderful little town too.  Just off 101 north of Santa Rosa.
Be there - you'll love it!

NOTHING BETTER . . THAN STITCHIN' TOGETHER

Betty, a long-time wool lover whose Quilting Bee, some years ago, overflowed with the most wonderful primitive goods, patterns and wools, now gathers together many hands who love to stitch.  What fun they have . . and often.  They have Spargonian, Maggie B, Prairie Women, and Girl Gang Days.  And I am so very flattered . . recently they have added a Reets Day.  Imagine that!  Below are photos of their first Reets meet and the beautiful stitching they have done.  Together!  Wish they lived in my neighborhood . . don't you?  If you want to get better acquainted with this expressive group and see what they are up to, visit Betty's Blog.

And why not give away a couple of these patterns?  You can choose.  Leave a comment about
"Stitchin' Together"

QUILT MARKET BOOTH

Diamond Textiles, who manufactures the yarn-dyed woven cottons we carry and use in many designs, displayed our Baskets Runner model in their booth at Quilt Market this spring.
Diamond sent me this picture but didn't identify that beautiful quilt and wall hanging.  Love both of those don't you?   Woven cottons . . what is not to love.
Well Janet is the winner of our

THE APRON AND THE ARTIST

NW Expo - Portland
There were raffle winners each day.  One of those days an artist named Lulu dashed into my booth waving her winning ticket.
Lulu.  A Winner - in every way.
I could tell she was an artist by the way she dressed . . and besides . . I'm lucky to know her a bit . . and her artwork.  And her blog Lulu Moon.  She won her choice of three free patterns in my booth.  One of her picks was our Sassy Little Apron pattern . . that did not surprise me.
She didn't waste any time.  Just last week my friend Janet of Art Journey sent me the these pictures taken at their weekly Art Group Gathering.

You would have to agree that
Every sassy little artist
needs their own hand made apron.
Love that she wore it to Art Group . .
and i hope that there is a dash or two of paint on it by now don't you?
