Betty, a long-time wool lover whose Quilting Bee, some years ago, overflowed with the most wonderful primitive goods, patterns and wools, now gathers together many hands who love to stitch. What fun they have . . and often. They have Spargonian, Maggie B, Prairie Women, and Girl Gang Days. And I am so very flattered . . recently they have added a Reets Day. Imagine that! Below are photos of their first Reets meet and the beautiful stitching they have done. Together! Wish they lived in my neighborhood . . don't you? If you want to get better acquainted with this expressive group and see what they are up to, visit Betty's Blog.
And why not give away a couple of these patterns? You can choose. Leave a comment about

Started making you patterns about 12 years ago. I never get tired of them and just looking at the pictures above brings a smile to my face. Now I'm thinking what can I make next.

ReplyDeleteI love visiting my sister, who lives very far from me, and working on quilts & knitting together. We have the best time together. Right now we are working on items for her "Granny Box". She is ill, and may not be around when grandchildren are born. I do the knitting and she is smocking a Bishop's Dress. Your patterns are so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear this story of you and your sister. Best of luck to her. Enjoy all of your stitching time together, as I'm sure you do.
DeleteMy husband and I just added a quilt studio to our home and I planned enough space to seat all or our guild members (we are a small guild). I can't wait to share my space with them! Love your patterns!!
ReplyDeleteLove your patterns. I have made many as gifts. My favorite to make for stitching friends is Needles and Pins.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day!
ReplyDeleteMy friends and I stitch together at least once a month and we schedule a weekend retreat once a year. We have a fantastic time and always encourage each other. Hope you continue with your friends.

Hey Reets! So glad you shared this group here. Its really inspiring! I also am adding an art room to my house, with plans for enough room for my art group to get together there. Lots of fun times ahead! Would love to win a pattern!!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust finished a UFO (UnFinished Object) weekend with a group of special friends. We get together almost every other month and sew, sew, sew! (We also solve all the problems of the world, but no one seems to pay attention!)
ReplyDeleteA great time of encouragement and friendship!
Reets is my favorite booth at PIQF :) I would love to be part of the "Stitchin Together" group! Looks like they are having great fun being creative together. Smart of them to add Reets to their mix!
ReplyDeleteI hope I'm not too late! I love Reets and have been buying from you for years! In fact, just made an online order.
