ReplyDeleteLove decorating for Halloween and Fall, and it's also the weekend of our Guild's annual retreat at a B & B - FUN!!
ReplyDeleteHalloween is all about the candy and now that I have 2 little grandkids, it's all about seeing them dress up and knock on doors and get all that free candy.....then when they go to bed, the goodie bags get raided by us adults....ahah haha.
ReplyDeleteLove Halloween because its a chance to stitch some pumpkins and witches...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your give-away opportunity to win your new pattern and needles from Copenhagen. I am keeping my fingers crossed my number is chosen because your design makes me feel like doing a jig. Last year one of my friends received a first place blue ribbon using one of your Halloween wool appliqué designs. You can not beat that!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all the kids dressed up! Also love your patterns!!!
ReplyDeleteHalloween generally marks the start of cooler fall weather in my area. And this year we are gleefully awaiting cooler weather! I love the fall colors and the beginning of "nesting" season. More time to stitch!
ReplyDeleteI love putting up my Halloween tree and ornaments in my office on campus. Most students have never seen a Halloween tree and really enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteSo much to love about Halloween! I used to dress up as a witch and put on a "show" for the neighborhood. Ive adults come with their kids and say they wish i would dress up for their kids because my house was their favorite when they were young. Im so happy i gave them memories. I would love to own this witch!

ReplyDeleteMy kids are grown now, but I used to make all their costumes for Halloween . You have the cutest patterns!!
ReplyDeleteI still very much love carving pumpkins, but right up there are seeing all the kids! Every year it's different on my street - we might get a ton of kids one year and nearly none the next. It's hard to figure how much came to purchase with such a fluctuation.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite this about Halloween is being able to wear a fun shirt to work that day. Or being able to dress up as a witch and act like a witch.
ReplyDeleteFall is my most favorite season..... sweater weather! The best colors and leaves and Halloween goblins.
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkins!!! I love the decorations and dressing up for Halloween!!! It's just fun - and who doesn't love some candy, except the dentist!
ReplyDeleteI like be all the beautiful colors in fall.
ReplyDeleteI love that kids can be anything they want for one night.
ReplyDeleteIt's the start of Fall for me, love the colors, the winter squash, apples and yes, the pumpkins. So many beautiful varieties. Then there's the kiddies and all that candy!! Your pattern is great, would love to win it along with those needles.
ReplyDeleteJust realized I posted as Anonymous without my name, can't win that way! Judy Beck. I'm the one that loves the winter squash and pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteThe magic of Halloween is that adults and chikdren are transformed into dreams and all playing together.
ReplyDeleteHalloween is when this grandmother so enjoys putting out a large display of pumpkins I have grown, with candle lights and treats for all the little ones who come decked out in their special attire.

Love seeing all the happy children on Halloween! Plus it gives me time to sit and sew while waiting for all their happy faces to knock on the door.
ReplyDeleteHalloween means Fall is in full-bloom and I love pumpkins and corn stalks on the porch, soups simmering on the stove, and cool, crisp nights sitting around our wood fire-pit in our front yard with dear friends and/or family.
ReplyDeleteThe smell of pumpkin cooking in the kitchen, as well as making costumes as a mom. To watch the anticipation of the finished costume in the eyes of a child is priceless. Such great memories throughout the years from a mom that sews.

ReplyDeleteLiving in southern California, we don't see too many "seasons" here. When Halloween comes, it is the best indication of Fall and I love the festive way that people embrace this event. I particularly love sharing it with my 4 year old granddaughter and watching the delight on her face when she is planning her costume and all the preparation of this special fun day!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It's a holiday for almost everyone. I love fall and colors of the trees and pumpkins and the costumes!
